Monty's takes its name from the man accredited with the invention of the sandwich.
John Montague was the first Lord of the Admiralty, the 4th earl of Sandwich, and a keen gambler.
Legend has it, that during a long game of poker, Montague demaded his man servant bring him his meat sliced and between two pieces of bread so he could eat with only one hand while still holding his card in the other.
Now nearly 300 years later, Monty's offers a wide range of freshly made hot and cold gourmet sandwiches, using only fresh bread baked daily in-house by Montys baker.
